This kind of crap is why I think captial punishment is the way to go. And when I say capital punishment, I mean eye for an eye type punishment. You hear stories like this and you wonder to yourself how people could do this sort of thing. Well, first of all, they are sick, demented people. Second, they do it because they think they will never have to pay. Third, they realize that if they ever DO pay, it will not hurt as much as what they did to other people.
I will put it plain and simple. You repay people equally and this kind of crap will stop. There would be less heinous crimes if the criminals knew that whatever they did would be repaid in the exact way to them. Take for instance car draggings. You know what I am talking about. It is stringing a person behind a moving vehicle attched to the vehicle with some sort of rope or chain. If they knew that if they ever got caught they would be drug also, they might think twice. Life in prison with cable television and a weight room just doesn’t scare people like it used to. Prisons are exclusive resorts now instead of “hard time”.
This all goes along with slimy attorneys who help people get off when they have committed these rediculous acts. People don’t pay for their wrongs anymore. It just isn’t the same old justice system. Now I think that if people were scared to do certain things based on the fact that they would have to suffer the same consequences that they would be slower to be stupid. It would also help if we didn’t release idiots back on to the streets to kill cops or more citizens. Who are these review boards that let these criminals escape, and that is what I call it.
Let’s get back to good ole’ fashioned justice. Lets let the cops be the ones with the guns and glory and the criminals run scared. Don’t make cops use tasers when they should be shooting bullets. Don’t restrict the ones who are risking their lives to make us safer. Restrict the criminals. They don’t obey stupid laws. You can throw all the laws you want at a criminal and it will not make a difference. A criminal is a criminal. Let justice be justice!
