I found this very interesting being a huge history buff (as of late). It is a story about disgruntled Civil war Confederate soldiers who moved to Brazil after the war and started a community of their own founded on southern principals. I found this even more interesting when I was reading through some genealogy materials and found some members of our family (not directly related) who moved to Brazil around this time.
