I am a Knology cable customer. Knology provides my phone, Internet, and cable television services. A long time ago (around 4 to 5 years) Knology was the best cable provider in my town. However, as of late, their customer service and tech support has severely degraded. I am in the middle of working an issue with them now.

For the past few weeks my service has been degraded during peak times. Most of the day my service is sub-par. I should be getting the guaranteed speeds of 7MB down and 512K up. My upload speed is fine and I am satisfied with what I am currently getting. My download speed is off, especially during peak hours when it goes as low as 900K. I did call today and verify that the guaranteed speed for my service is 7MB.

Supposedly, their network admins are looking into this problem. I will update this post soon with the results of my struggle.
