I like option #9 because I bleieve that the way to get something accomplished is not to get everyone involved, but to get a few zealots involved. Let them be the evangelists for your cause. You need a few dedicated people that are willing to tattoo your cause on their chest, or wear a stupid t-shirt, or even shave their heads to promote your issue.
