Clinton Presidency Threatened

For those of you who read this article simply due to the title and who wondered what it might be that is threatening Hilary Clinton’s run for the world’s highest office, it is me. I am the threat. “How are you the threat?”, you might ask. Well, I am one of a dying breed of Americans known as the “red blooded”. A small sect of society that still believes in right and wrong and think that most issues are really black and white and that we as society cause the blending that produces the gray areas. I am one of the last remaining Americans that believes in a true democracy and not the Clinton’s dream of a new socialistic nation.

I know that some of you now think that I am some sexist bigot, but you are indeed wrong. I have no problem with women in places of authority. As a Christian, I definitely lean towards men being in a leadership role. Not because they are better at it, but because God himself usually chose men to lead. However, many women were used by God throughout the Bible as well. Do I think it would be good for this country to have a woman president? Were there are qualities that a woman (the average woman) could bring to the table. In general, most women I know are more caring, thoughtful, understanding, and patient than most men. Once again this does not apply to all women. I think a woman president would most likely be more concerned with the current state of our nations schools. I think she might do well with diplomacy (although many nations would be offended if we sent a woman to them to discuss diplomatic issues). Condoleezza Rice has done a good job of speaking for the American people and I believe others could do the same.

Well, if I am not a sexist bigot, then why would I be concerned over Hilary’s run for the presidential office? I am not concerned about her sex. I am concerned about her policy. I do not want to see our nation move closer to a socialist society. She is promising the American people a vision that I do not want to see come to reality. I do not want her socialist healthcare program. I want to continue with my private insurance which helps to promote pricing competitiveness. I want to privatize social security so that whether I fall or rise in my old age is up to me and not to the government. We should not be depending on the government to make sure that we are taken care of in our old age.

I also fear Hilary’s stance on the war. One which has changed often by the way. She voted for the war, but claims she was duped. I don’t think claiming you were duped into voting for a war you did not want sounds any better than voting for a war. She flip flops on the issues that concern a lot of Americans. We already know that the family structure is not tight. And I don’t care what your opinion is, the truth is that the President’s family life and stress within the home, will come out in their duties. I want a president who can focus on the tasks at hand. Many of which concern American lives.
