Be sure to check the Hardware Compatibility List to see if your device is officially supported under Vista. The list isn’t complete, but if you see that a particular device is Certified for Windows Vista, you can be a little more confident that you’ll find up-to-date drivers for it. Alas, the device pages don’t contain links to additional information or drivers. It does indicate whether a driver is included as part Windows Vista or via Windows Update (or both).
