On the Internet, Obama will require that parents have the option of receiving parental controls software that not only blocks objectionable Internet content but also prevents children from revealing personal information through their home computer.

Please. Show me parental control software that is effective and I will show you a mirror so you can see an idiot. Everyone knows that with the intelligence that today’s kids have when it comes to technology that it would be easier for a child to control access to the Internet than for a parent to do it.

An Obama administration will encourage the creation of Public Media 2.0., the next generation of public media that will create the Sesame Street of the Digital Age and other video and interactive programming that educates and informs. Obama will support the transition of existing public broadcasting entities and help renew their founding vision in the digital world.

Do we really want or need a “Sesame Street of the Digital Age”? Next you will tell me of Obama’s initiative to create a “Telletubies of the Digital Age”. Lord help us.

Obama will encourage industry not to show inappropriate adult-oriented commercial advertising during children’s programming.

Ok, I like this one. Perhaps then we can work on getting the advertisements for “The Best Damn Sports Show” off during primetime. This one really ticks me off. Too many nights passed during family television time where I had to quickly kill the commercials for a sports show. Get a life people.

Restoring the basic principle that government decisions should be based on the best-available, scientifically-valid evidence and not on the ideological predispositions of agency officials.

In other words, God doesn’t run Obama’s America. God help us all. We wouldn’t want people living by their moral convictions now would we? This is the average liberal’s view of the world. It isn’t fair for you to live with morals because the rest of them don’t. Obama, you mind explaining what ideologies you have an issue with?

Yeah, because he would never just emphasize technology as a concern to fool dumb Americans to vote for him. Go, Barack, you are the man.
