New AOL for Mac Release
I cannot believe I am even posting anything about this. I own a MacBook and I gurantee you that no AOL software will ever touch it as long as it is in my posession. Hey, I had my time with AOL. I was there from the beginning. My first true Internet experience was with AOL. For a couple of years I dialed in to bulletin boards, then I found the AOL software. I dialed in to AOL from Windows 3.1 on a Hayes 2400Baud modem until version 3.0 came out for Windows 95 which included “Webcrawler”. At that point you could actually browse the true Internet. I used it off and on for a few years and then I got my head on straight and got a bare dial-up connection.
I don’t know many Mac users who will actually care that they can use AOL. Especially now that AOL is not much more to most people than an IM company. If you ever listen to me, now is the time. Please do not spend your time messing around with AOL. Learn a programming language or learn to knit. Heck, start an Ebay store or something. Good luck.
